Hello Paddlers,
This Sunday is my scheduled club paddle out of Edisto Island Marina up and around Bailey Island. It should be a new loop to most people, launching out of and back to the only marina on Edisto. We've planned this paddle to have the tidal currents with us for the whole way around. We'll stop for lunch at an oyster bank on the Edisto River and then have the outgoing tide bringing us back.. This is listed as an L3 paddle due to it's length and the wide open water of the Edisto River. The marina does have a small store and bathrooms available to change in after the paddle. There will also be a small 5.00 launch fee.
The weather looks to be good with the end of this rainy spell. the NOAA marine forcast for Sunday is: N winds 10 kt. A slight chance of showers. Julie and I can live with that. If you feel comfortable and capable for this paddle we welcome your company. I see we have two paddlers already signed up so the paddle is a go.
