Hi Low Country Paddlers!
I am offering a series of 6 kayak training classes, roughly once per month, followed by a free practice session for each class. The classes are posted on meetup site: https://www.meetup.com/Charleston-SUP-Kayak-Meetup/ The classes start with the basics with a progression of skills. You can take one or two or all the classes. I'm offering a discount for anyone wanting to take all the classes. I'm open to any feedback you have about this offering.

ALSO there is a very cool event called "Oceans 21" which is hosted by my friend Chris Rezac. He has previously hosted this event in NC, but has recently moved here to Charleston and is offering the weekend training the 1st weekend in May. This is a very low cost opportunity to spend the weekend with many options such as: marsh paddles, intro to surf, ocean trips, surfing, etc. This event is on my Meetup calendar, or you can go directly to his website for more info: https://chrisrezac.wixsite.com/kayakoceans. Chris and his wife Laura are setting up at James Island County Park camp site and will provide dinners and social environment. Everyone is welcome to come to the campsite whether they are camping or not - it's a nice way to meet and socialize, outdoors! He has reserved several sites, so there will be plenty of room for social distancing.
