Finished this book recently..
The Pacific Alone
.. amazing story from 1987 of Ed Gillet who paddled from California to Hawaii in 63 days.
Happy to loan it out if someone wants to read it. I plan to be at the mtg Monday night.
Some of you might be following this story - another attempt in a much different "kayak".. he should land in Hawaii this week. Impressive none the less.
