Drift sock
Author Last Post

Conrad,

A drift sock or more commonly know as a sea anchor uses the current to control your boat or kayak. It’s usually used in windy situations to slow down your drift. I googled sea anchors and they can be purchased Cabela’s, Bass Pro Shops, FishUSA, Walmart, etc. They range in price from $25 and up. You can also use a small bucket with a bunch of 1” holes drilled to your liking.

Regards,

John Frassanito

Has anyone used a drift sock? I'm looking for a solution to slow down while fishing in the kayak.
