Treasurer’s report-
Membership Update-
· Memberships count- 93
· Renewals- 58 paid-in-full and 35 expiring 2/28.
*Michelle sending out notices this week as personal reminders. Templated content is approved.
*Ken is working on an updated list of active ACA memberships vs. current members as renewals are submitted.
Old or New Items of Discussion:
Upcoming Training-
o Ongoing discussion for LCP members. Ideas are to offer four classes this year, progressive to grow confidence and experience. More to come!
Membership Growth- Goal is to grow our members and share experiences on the water.
o Resident events at location communities- In February, Michelle spoke to an events group, planning on revisiting a group event/paddle in April based upon LCP’s interaction plans.
o Social media- ongoing awareness and promo of club.
o Meetups- great resource for new members and community awareness.
Marketing-
o Stickers are in! Promotional items will begin being pushed out – ongoing.
o Anyone wanting to assist with distribution (businesses/friends/neighbors, etc.), I can mail them.
o Michelle will bring to paddles for distribution and pass them out.
Other-
o Club paddles- discussion being held by board and will circulate updates once more is defined.
Future Meeting-
o GPS/Binoculars and a variety of equipment information.
o Presentation on safety and other members.
