It was great to see your faces this past Monday at our meeting! What a great turnout, and thanks to Julie and Dan for hosting.
As a follow up to the discussion on if we should host a Holiday Event this year we are opening up this discussion to everyone.
There were concerns expressed that during this time some are not comfortable outside, eating, while still social distancing. For this reason, I propose some alternative options. Please opine.
- An electronic raffle during November- December to raise money for our club or another charity of our choosing. At the end of the deadline (date TBD) host a Zoom meeting to socialize. You can wear the ugly sweaters, have a drink, and we raffle off the prizes remotely during the call. If you suggest a charity please include this in your response.
- Open up a non-club event to those wanting to gather at safe distances at a location outdoors.
- Both 1 and 2 options.
- No event this year.
