Morris Island Lighthouse
Oct 27 (Sunday): Folly Beach Landing to Morris Island Lighthouse loop trip. About 10.5 miles.
Non club members and member guests must contact the trip leader before the trip.
Boat type, size, and paddling skills should be discussed with the trip leader.
Meet at Folly Beach Landing in time to offload boats and park in time to launch by 9:15.
Rating: L2+
Logistics: Low tide is about 11. Plan to be back at the landing by 2:30.

Note 1: Parking in boat landing for cars without trailers is limited, but there are approx. 10 new car spots recently built out. Those without trailers should offload their boats at the landing and then find street parking nearby if all the singles are taken. Often there are street spots along the side next to Folly Beach City Park located across Folly Road and 1 block toward the beach. The park has a nice bathroom available as well. If you park a car in a trailer spot, you can count on getting a parking ticket.
Note 2: Half of the trip, each way, will be against current.
