August 3 (Saturday) Santee River: McConnell’s Landing, down Chicken Creek, and up Wambaw Creek to the Forest Service bridge on Wambaw Creek. About 9 miles.
Non club members and member guests must contact the trip leader before the trip. Boat type, size , and paddling skills should be discussed with the trip leader.
Meet at Wambaw Creek bridge at 9:30 (Put Wambaw Creek Boat Ramp in your mapping app. Do not be confused with Wambaw Creek Still Landing...that is the wrong landing). Double load boats on as many vehicles as possible, leaving at last 1 vehicle at Wambaw Creek Bridge Landing and proceed to McConnells Landing and launch when ready.

Logistics: The tide will carry us down to Wambaw Creek. The last 2 miles, going up Wambaw Creek will be against the last of the outgoing tide. Should be off the water by 2:45
