In two days we'll be doing a new club paddle. Circumnavigating around the marsh island directly across from the Buck Hall launch.
This is an L3 do to it's exposure. Touring kayaks only please. On the inside, yes it's simply a paddle down the ICW. On the outside you'll get the feeling of being in a wild location. It's a very different feeling out there. The weather though will absolutely make this paddle. Sunscreen is the magic word for the day. The wind will vary as the go through the paddle, moving lightly from the west to the north so the plan will be a clockwise route around. I noted no one has formally signed on yet, but I can easily say we'll be there no matter. Julie and I did do a dry run last month on a breezy, cloudy day and yes this is a good trip. I'm looking forward to doing it again.
