Mars Oldfield Landing to Messervy Landing Thursda...
Author Last Post
Looking forward to it, Michael!
Meet at the entrance to Givhans Ferry State Park 10am, May 17 for paddle from Mars Oldfield landing to Messervy  landing.     May stop at Bee City for a breakfast pizza before go to landing.  This is Ralph Earhart's favorite trip on this part of the Edisto River.  It is 8.3 miles long and about 3 hours.  The river current is strong and little paddling is required.  For the beginning paddler, the challenge is to keep the kayak in the middle of the river.    For directions to Givhans Ferry State Park just go out HWY 61 until you see the Givhans Ferry State Park on the right or call Michael Condon 843-800-5114.  Thank you.
