High tide at Bulow landing is about noon. Meet at Bulow Landing at 11AM and launch at 11:15. In case of inclement weather, could move the trip to Sunday and all times would be 1 hour later…meet at noon.

Lynches River Car Camping.  About 11 miles.

Arrive Friday evening at Lynches River County Park (about 15 miles south of Florence).  Set base camp. On Saturday, paddle 15 miles downriver to Indigo Landing. Commercial shuttle back to base camp at county park. (You will need to pay for the shuttle.  Bring cash.).   Note: Launch time Saturday is 9:30 at the county park, so non campers can leave Charleston in time to do a 2 ¼ hour drive                           Ken McDowell

Meet at the Piggly Wiggly in Moncks Corner at the intersection of Hwy 17A and Hwy 6 at 10. Depart for boat landing at 10:15.

This trip was planned so new paddlers from the Kayak Festival can immediately paddle with the club.  Non-members sign a waiver and pay $5 to cover insurance).

High tide is about 11.  Meet at Isle of Palms Marina at 9:00; launch at 9:30.  $5 fee for cars, $10 for trailers.  Arrive in time to pay and launch on time.

Everyone, campers and those who do not camp will meet at the rest stop on I-95 just past the Santee exits (this is the rest area before you cross the bridge over the lakes). Meet at the rest area at 9:30, leave at 9:45 and proceed to the swamp.

Low tide at Ashepoo is noon. Meet at Joes Fish Camp (immediately on the left after crossing the Ashepoo River on HWY 17 at 9 and obtain parking pass ($10 cash). Shuttle up to HWY 303, offload boats, and return to cars to Joes Fish camp. Launch from HWY 303 by 9:45. We may do a swim from our boats once we are out of the woods. Ralph Earhart

Low tide at the intersection of the creek and the North Edisto River is 1PM. Meet at  the boat landing (Site #10 on the plantation) at  10:45 AM and launch at 11:15. We’ll land on a beach on the Edisto to swim, relax, and eat for an hour.
Important notes
Trailers are not permitted on the plantation. All boats must be carried on car tops or the back of trucks.
All vehicles must sign in at the entrance kiosk

Meet at Arrowhead landing at 10, load bots on as few cars as possible and head to HWY 52 by 10:30. We will stop and swim frequently. Because of the frequent stops, ‘advanced” L1 paddlers should be fine…but it IS 16 miles.

Sullivan’s Island, Station 26 to beach on front of Sullivans Island.   About 4 miles.
Rating:   L1, Sheltered. (yes sheltered because we will have the sand bar in front of the beach stopping waves from us)

Low tide at Breach Inlet is 12:15.   Meet at Station 26 landing at 10:30 and launch at 11. We’ll swim, eat, and head back before the tide brings waves over the sandbar.
